Software Quality Assurance Specialist

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing practices.
Responsibilities- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality-related issues.
- Automate test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
- Prepare detailed test reports and metrics for stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-6 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation purposes.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
