
HR Operations Assistant

The Human Resources Intern role offers a chance to gain insight into the inner workings of a company, supporting day-to-day HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, records management and employee support while learning core HR processes.
Support Recruitment Activities
- Post job advertisements on relevant platforms
- Screen resumes to ensure candidate suitability
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Coordinate assessments and offer positions to selected candidates
Contribute to Onboarding/Exit Processes
- Prepare kits for new employees, including essential documents and information
- Assist in orientations and provide support during this critical period
- Create and update records accurately and efficiently
- Support exit formalities, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees
Provide Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HRIS and files
- Track attendance and leaves for employees
- Prepare basic HR letters and notifications as needed
Enhance Employee Engagement
- Assist with events and activities designed to foster team spirit and collaboration
- Internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged
Ensure Compliance
- Help with background checks and documentation
- Assist with audit preparation and other compliance-related tasks
Compile Reports
- Compile weekly status updates for stakeholders
- Basic HR metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in HR, Psychology, Business or related field
Working knowledge of MS Office/Google Suite; exposure to HRIS is an asset
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; eagerness to learn and grow
