The company has carved a niche for itself through its subsidiaries, operating India's first fully integrated carbon facility in Bellary, Karnataka.

As Director General Corporate Strategy, you will be responsible for developing & implementing the company's strategic plan in alignment with business objectives.

  • Developing & implementing the company's strategic plan in alignment with business objectives
  • Overseeing the execution of strategic projects & initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
  • Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Identifying and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances, leading due diligence processes and negotiations for corporate development activities
  • Fostering a culture of innovation within the organization to drive growth, overseeing the development of new products, services, and business models
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and build support for strategic initiatives, communicating strategic goals and progress to various stakeholders

Key Skills & Attributes include:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Expertise in financial modeling and business case creation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights to senior stakeholders
  • High proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to navigate and deliver results in ambiguous and fast-changing business environments
  • Strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail and commercial implications

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • BE | BTech in Chemical Engineering
  • MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.)
  • 15 to 17 years of experience in strategic roles within the chemical or allied sectors
  • Prior exposure to business development, corporate planning, or strategy consulting
  • Experience in techno-commercial functions is a strong advantage
