Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software quality assurance automation specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation using the Karate Framework for both UI and API testing. You will design, develop, and execute automated test cases to ensure seamless user experiences and efficient system operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts using the Karate Framework for UI and API testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.
  • Execute and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects to improve overall product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Karate Framework for both API and UI automation.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML data formats.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and agile methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, or related programming languages.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
