Job Role: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. As a member of our quality assurance team, you will play a pivotal role in elevating software quality standards through automated testing initiatives.

This is a demanding yet rewarding role that requires a sharp analytical mindset, a proactive approach, and the ability to work seamlessly across both frontend and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Utilize Selenium WebDriver with frameworks like TestNG or JUnit to create efficient and effective test scripts.
  • Execute Functional, Regression, Integration and End-to-End Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing across web and backend platforms to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on Defects: Identify and document defects clearly, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Conduct API Testing: Use tools like Postman or SoapUI to validate API functionality and ensure seamless interactions.
  • Integrate Automated Tests into CI/CD Pipelines: Leverage tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps to streamline testing and deployment processes.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA roles with a strong focus on Selenium automation. Key skills include proficiency in scripting languages like Java or Python, hands-on experience with API testing, and familiarity with test management tools.

In addition, we seek candidates with a solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD workflows. Strong analytical and documentation skills are also essential for success in this role.
