Job Title: Community Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our team as a Community Care Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly residents at our care facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents through engaging conversations, activities, and shared experiences.
  • Assist in organizing daily activities such as games, reading sessions, and group interactions that promote socialization and mental stimulation.
  • Support staff in ensuring residents' basic needs are met, including assisting with mealtime, mobility, and personal care.
  • Coordinate health check-ups and physiotherapy sessions as required, promoting overall well-being and independence.
  • Foster a sense of community by encouraging active participation in recreational and engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and activities, as guided by staff.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Able to commit to regular shifts, with some variability depending on resident needs.
  • Experience working with seniors or vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with residents, staff, and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
