Job Title: Asset Recovery Specialist

The role of an Asset Recovery Specialist is to oversee the collection process of receivables across multiple sources. This involves working with clients to negotiate payment schedules, monitoring and maintaining customer account details, and tracing defaulters in coordination with the agency's tracing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Correspond with clients to negotiate payment schedules that meet their current financial situation while satisfying the debt.
• Keep track of portfolios for specific buckets and control delinquency, focusing on non-starters.
• Provide efficient customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, and resolve client discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain customer account details, making customer calls and processing account adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure customer files are updated with contact information and notes on received debt details.
• Trace defaulters and assets, suggesting remedial action and investigating reasons for default.
• Enlist support from sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
• Maintain compliance with audit regulations and company policies.
