Lead Airfield Design Engineer

We seek an experienced Airfield Design Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality civil engineering projects at airports.

About the Role:

This key position will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of airfield civil engineering projects, from feasibility studies to construction.

  • Take ownership of project delivery, providing leadership and direction to junior team members.
  • Act as the primary design lead for airfield civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with quality management requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications for airfield engineering projects.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, industry associates, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Identify and manage design risks and issues to minimize project delays.

To succeed in this role, you must have sound technical abilities and knowledge of Civil Engineering projects at airports. A degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.

Requirements:
  • 10 years of civil infrastructure design experience at airports.
  • Civil engineering experience working on large airport projects from concept to detailed design and construction support.
  • Experience managing engineering professionals in technical aviation projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet business objectives.
