Job Title: Business Development Associate
Role OverviewThe Business Development Associate will be responsible for expanding market reach, promoting educational products, and ensuring strong revenue growth across assigned regions.
- Sales Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, expand customer base, and penetrate new markets across schools, institutes, and distributors.
- Client Engagement: Conduct product presentations, briefings, and workshops for schools, teachers, and decision-makers.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term partnerships with clients to drive repeat business and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct research to track market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product and Editorial teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at educational fairs, exhibitions, and events to strengthen brand visibility.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the publishing or education sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and build trusted relationships.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
