Product Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team. As a Product Development Specialist, you will be responsible for defining and managing product roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of products that meet customer needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure thorough understanding of product vision and scope.
  • Participate in Agile processes as a team member, facilitating discussions and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Identify, remove, and mitigate impediments impacting successful completion of Release or Sprint goals.
  • Support customer research and gathering feedback from internal and external stakeholders on feature development.
  • Assist in creating compelling marketing materials such as datasheets and white papers.
  • Act as a product ambassador and expert among all stakeholders.
  • Support customer interactions, particularly when validating new functionality or collating information regarding enhancement requests or defects.

Requirements:Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background and proficiency in product management practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience with sprint planning.
  • Strong technical background, including experience developing and deploying complex on-prem and SaaS software products.
  • Working knowledge of product development architecture.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, specifically for understanding and communicating product-related items to teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with large teams.
  • Understanding of design quality standards.
Good to Have:
  • Experience with SaaS products, including an understanding of SaaS architecture, business models, vendor licensing models, and implementation challenges.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following subjects: FinOps, ITAM, SAM, public cloud cost optimization, ITIL.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization, influencing work across user experience design and software development functions.
