Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned healthcare professional to join our team as a Senior Content Strategist. As a key member of our content operations team, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to develop effective copy and concepts for projects and campaigns.

Main Accountabilities

  • Develop and articulate rationales, tone of voice, and core messaging for various projects and campaigns.
  • Interpret business needs around copy and messaging to produce results best suited to client needs.
  • Work with marketing teams to create messaging that takes inspiration from master content.
  • Actively explore the Healthcare Marketing arena, staying up-to-date on therapeutic areas and Novartis Brands.
  • Lead the copy team in MLR discussions and review submissions.
  • Oversee more than one brand and therapy area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop copy content and messaging to appeal to various target audiences, including patients, HCPs, and sales reps.
  • Write copy suitable for digital and print materials, such as iPad-based selling aids, applications, websites, emails, banners, brochures, flyers, and POS displays.
  • Provide feedback and rationale to the team on work.
  • Maintain high scientific and grammatical standards for medical education and communications materials.
  • Become a brand product information specialist and source written materials for Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, writing, communication, marketing, advertising, or related fields.
  • Advanced degree in pharma, medical, or relevant scientific area.
  • Approximately 12-15 years experience in healthcare advertising agencies.
  • Significant experience working from creative briefs (evaluation through ideation through execution).
  • Experience in writing promotional pharmaceutical content.
  • Significant experience writing clear and engaging copy.
  • Experience working and collaborating in complex matrix environments.
