Hardware Development Lead

This role involves overseeing the end-to-end hardware development of power electronics systems, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Hardware Development: The ideal candidate will have experience in defining system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems.
  • Define System Architecture: Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering teams to define system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  • Component Selection and Integration: Select and integrate components such as MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  • Design and Testing: Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, and automotive standards. Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety.
  • Skill Requirements:
    • Expertise in high-voltage battery systems
    • Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations
    • Strong leadership and project management skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
