Job Title:

The Accountant role is a full-time remote opportunity that involves preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

This position also entails analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and providing support for audits. The individual in this role will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial reports, general ledger management, and account reconciliation
  • Experience in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, tax return preparation, and audit support
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceuticals industry is an advantage
