Lead Empirical Research and Data Analysis

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead data-driven research and policy analysis projects. As part of our team, you will work closely with researchers and stakeholders to deliver impactful policy recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline, with strong training in econometrics, statistics, and programming languages such as Stata, R, or Python. Experience in empirical research, data analysis, and publication is essential for this role.

  • Design and apply advanced econometric and statistical methods (DiD, IV, PSM, panel data models) to derive causal insights from large-scale datasets.
  • Work with various data sources including administrative, labour, GST, satellite, and survey datasets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in empirical research and data analysis.
  • Mastery of econometrics and statistical software packages such as Stata, R, or Python.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and deriving meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
