Financial Data Specialist

We are seeking a world-class financial data analyst to join our mission at Arcana—a next-generation portfolio intelligence company powering hedge funds and asset managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Presenting and analyzing complex data utilizing charts, tables, and Excel for informed investment decisions.
  • Analyzing financial reports, market trends, and asset performance to identify valuable insights for investors.
  • Interpreting key factors contributing to a financial asset's investment merits, including yield, price, risk, stability, and other relevant metrics.
  • Developing a deep understanding of quantitative risk modeling to innovate and improve commercial risk models and portfolio analytics.
  • Conducting thorough unit economic and financial analysis to support strategic investment decisions.
  • Collaborating closely with the data engineering and science teams to interpret, validate, and source relevant metrics and data.
Requirements:
  • Top-tier academic credentials: Bachelor's or Master's degree with honors (8.0+ GPA mandatory). Ideally from an esteemed global university. MBA/CFA/FRM is a significant advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a front-office financial role (typically Investment Banking or Investment Due Diligence).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a methodical, concise, and accurate work style, strong attention to detail, and deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply technical knowledge to solve problems effectively.
  • Strong aptitude and interest in quantitative risk management, information technology, and emerging trends.
  • Conscientious and focused on objectives with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, validation, and presentation of results using MS Excel.
