Job Summary:

The Project Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating and executing the supply side of project management activities for high-value customer projects. Focusing on T2 and T3 projects, the objectives are to improve COST, QUALITY, DELIVERY, SPEED, and CASH results for manufacturing plants and fulfillment centers located in ISV global locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and reinforce standards for a safe work environment.
  • Participate in bid review meetings, cross-functional kick-off meetings, and follow up on customer projects.
  • Engage and track customer projects during the pursuit phase, identifying key components, applying supply chain tools, and enhancing leverage to support customer project objectives and timelines.
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure comprehensive plans and secure on-time delivery of project orders, following the standard Project Procurement Process and Templates.
  • Process Change Order Management with Project Managers, identifying costs and lead times with suppliers, and deploying deviations only after customer approval.
  • Work with P&IC, Category Teams, and Key Suppliers to achieve margin uplift during the pursuit phase and record/report actuals in ProTrack during the execution phase.
  • Tension Logistics Costs on the customer delivery side (from Emerson Site to Customer Site) with Logistics Teams.
  • Ensure supplier capacity meets expectations and prices meet budgets during the bidding phase.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technical, or Business; MBA preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Project Management Certification preferred.
  • Experience with e-sourcing (ARIBA).
  • Strong capability in planning and analytics, structured problem-solving, facilitating, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering graduate with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Persuasive communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (internally and externally).
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, global sourcing, and logistics optimization initiatives.
