Project Procurement Manager

Job Summary:
The Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating and executing the supply side of project management activities for high-value customer projects. Focusing on T and T projects, the objectives are to improve COST, QUALITY, DELIVERY, SPEED, and CASH results for manufacturing plants and fulfillment centers in ISV global locations. The Procurement Manager collaborates cross-functionally with PSQ (SBU), Project Management, Order Management, Category Managers, PSQ, Production & Inventory Controls, IPM, and Operations at each stage of the projects – from quotation to awarding orders through manufacture to delivery to customers.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Establish and enforce standards for a safe work environment.
- Participate in bid review meetings, cross-functional kick-off managed by Project Managers, and follow up on customer projects.
- Engage and track customer projects managed by Project Management Organization during the pursuit phase: identify major key components, determine desired processes, apply supply chain tools and processes to enhance leverage, support customer project objectives, and timeline. Partner with Project Managers to ensure comprehensive plans and secure on-time delivery of project orders by following the standard Project Procurement Process and Templates. Process Change Order Management with Project Managers by identifying with suppliers the cost of changes and the impact on lead time. Deploy deviations with vendors only after getting customer approval regarding cost and lead time.
- Collaborate with P&IC, Category Teams, and Key Suppliers to achieve margin uplift during the pursuit phase and record/report actuals in ProTrack during the execution phase.
- Work with Logistics Teams to optimize Logistics Costs on the customer delivery side (from Emerson Site to Customer Site).
- Ensure supplier capacity meets expectations and prices meet budgets during the bidding phase.
- Guarantee on-time delivery for key components from key suppliers (Casting, Actuators, etc.).

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technical, or Business; MBA preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Project Management Certification preferred.
- Experience with e-sourcing (ARIBA).
- Strong capability in planning and analytics, structured problem-solving, facilitating, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Engineering graduate with + years of relevant experience.
- Persuasive communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (internally and externally).
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, global sourcing, and logistics optimization initiatives.
