Senior Vision Scientist Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and motivated leader to oversee the development of innovative solutions in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers.
  • Define project goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative culture.

Research & Development:

  • Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for tasks such as detection, segmentation, tracking, and recognition.
  • Drive innovation in image analysis, medical imaging, industrial vision, and AI-powered automation.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and publications in AI and vision technologies.

Project Execution:

  • Translate business/clinical/industrial needs into AI-based solutions.
  • Oversee end-to-end pipeline: data acquisition, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Ensure robustness, scalability, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Present results to stakeholders and support publications/patent filings.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Master's or PhD in Computer Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
  • A strong track record in developing and deploying deep learning models.
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and related libraries.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in medical imaging, autonomous systems, robotics, or industrial inspection.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
