Job Description

Corporate legal associates play a crucial role in ensuring that our business operations are legally sound and compliant with regulatory requirements. This position requires an individual with a sharp legal acumen, commercial contract management skills, and the ability to navigate complex cross-border regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, and providing legal guidance on compliance matters.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS & IT Services Agreements, Collaboration & Staffing Agreements, NDAs, and Marketing Contracts.
  • Advise on cross-border legal and regulatory matters, including data protection, corporate governance, and financial regulation.
  • Provide legal guidance in contract disputes, dispute resolution, and potential litigation.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) is required; Master's or professional certifications are preferred.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or technology sectors is a plus.
  • Prior in-house legal counsel or top-tier law firm experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in legal risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of data protection, corporate governance, and financial regulation.
  • Excellent communication, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
