Senior Wind Turbine Engineer

We are seeking an expert in designing foundations that power the future of renewable energy.

About the Role:

This is a critical opportunity for a seasoned engineer to contribute to large-scale wind turbine projects by designing and optimizing various types of foundations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in wind turbine foundation design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Optimize Foundations: Develop and implement designs for maximum structural integrity, taking into account gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue loads.
  • Load Calculations: Perform detailed load calculations to ensure structural safety, including gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue loads.
  • Material Selection: Select cost-effective, sustainable construction materials aligned with international standards.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare/review design documents, including Structural Design Basis Reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculation packages.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with geotechnical, electrical, and civil experts to deliver holistic project designs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred).
  • Master's in Structural/Civil Engineering (Advanced Structural Analysis preferred).
  • 8–12 years in the Power & Utilities / Renewable Energy sector with proven wind turbine foundation design expertise.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in software: STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge in geotechnical risk assessment, seismic hazard analysis, hydrological risk assessment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with International Standards: Familiarity with international standards, such as BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, EUROCODE, etc.

Expertise in Wind Turbine Foundation Design: Expertise in wind turbine foundation design, including design optimization and load calculations.
