Job Title: Technical Solution Specialist

The Specialist – Technical Solution role supports technical experts in solving Service Now tasks, starting with main bearing related tasks. This includes creating and maintaining failed component information and regularly updating management about new potential serial defects.

The role is key to efficient and smooth operation of the Technical Solution Teams. It involves dealing with unexpected situations and time-sensitive tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Working in a globally responsible team of technical experts within Global Technical Solutions
  2. Being a focal point of contact for technical issues between local business units and central business units
  3. Assignment of tasks along the technical support process
  4. Collecting information about the performance of mechanical components of wind turbines
  5. Identification and reporting of potential serial issues
  6. Evaluation of risk potential, budgeting, and scheduling of necessary activities related to major non-conformities
  7. Supporting local business units in the development of sustainable solutions regarding mechanical problems relating to the wind turbine drive train with distinctive technical expertise
  8. Creation of repair and inspection instructions for mechanical component assemblies (e.g., main shaft assemblies, couplings, gearboxes, nacelle frame components)
  9. Definition, implementation, and obtaining of service processes for mechanical assemblies (e.g., processes for inspections, repairs, on-site complaints, customer reports)
  10. Improvement of internal standards and processes and ensuring the permanent transfer of knowledge between relevant departments and locations
