Role: Commercial Banking Expert

  • Transforming Banking Services through Domain Expertise

Job Overview:

This position entails collaborating with stakeholders to drive commercial banking excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights for business requirements.
  • Own RFP/RFI responses and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives in client banking operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.
  • Stay current with regulatory trends and market shifts in the banking sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking, with exposure to corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, and client onboarding.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role within a business process services function is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance environment.
  • Good understanding of digital banking trends, banking platforms, automation, analytics, and FinTech collaboration models.
  • Ability to create impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in management or related field.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks, either directly or via BPS engagements.
  • Global exposure to banking regulations and practices.
