Job Title: Product Sourcing Specialist
About This RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced product sourcing specialist to join our team. As a key member of our merchandising department, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end product development process.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop seasonal collections that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Negotiate prices and confirm orders with suppliers while ensuring timely delivery.
- Analyze market trends and make informed decisions about product offerings.
- Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs.
- Work closely with designers to develop high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, Fashion Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-8 years of experience in product sourcing, preferably in the woven garment industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, costing, and production processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/MIS systems.
- Able to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
