Fire Operations Manager - ARFF

The Fire Operations Manager - ARFF is responsible for overseeing the Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services at airports. The ideal candidate should have 7-15 years of experience in the airports industry, with a strong understanding of fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the team to ensure round-the-clock readiness for emergency response.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational procedures and protocols in compliance with local and international aviation safety standards.
  • Conduct regular training and drills to maintain peak performance and readiness.
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, and emergency services for seamless emergency response and mutual aid.
  • Oversee the maintenance and readiness of vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems.
  • Prepare and analyze incident reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to ARFF services.
  • Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance and leadership during simulated emergencies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold the highest standards of fire safety and emergency preparedness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF).
Certifications:
  • Valid ARFF certification from a recognized aviation authority.
  • Valid certification in Fire Safety and Prevention.
Experience:
  • 10-15 years of experience in the airports industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management.
