Key Job Title: Warehouse Operations Director

  • Manage and oversee the entire warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Be responsible for managing the warehouse P&L including budgeting, cost control, productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive efficiency in inbound, storage, inventory management, order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
  • Design customized operational solutions for customers, optimize layouts, manpower planning, and material handling systems.
  • Build strong customer relationships; ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the operations team to deliver high performance and service excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, health & safety standards, and internal audit guidelines.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other digital solutions to drive efficiency and visibility in operations.

Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of experience in warehouse operations & logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in P&L management, operations design, and customer solutioning.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing processes, local compliances, and labor regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of handling large-scale warehouses / multi-client facilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
