Job Title: SAP MDM Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data management strategies and roadmaps to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks and processes to manage master data for SAP projects.
  • Manage data migration and cutover activities for SAP S/4HANA projects including Greenfield implementations, migrations, and rollouts to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Develop and execute data migration plans ensuring data accuracy, cleansing, transformation, and validation to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Establish best practices and data management capabilities to improve data quality metrics and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Define and enforce data management principles, policies, and lifecycle strategies to ensure data compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data governance initiatives and participate in daily stand-ups, issue tracking, and dashboard updates.
  • Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities for process improvements within data management.
  • Conduct training sessions on S/4HANA data management best practices and maintain training materials and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, data migration, and rollouts.
  • Expertise in data governance, lifecycle management, and compliance.
  • Experience defining data management principles, policies, and lifecycle strategies.
  • Ability to monitor data quality using metrics and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with KANBAN boards, ticketing tools, and dashboards.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to track and manage data objects and deliver on time.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in training teams on data management best practices.
  • Knowledge of automation and productivity improvement tools.
  • Familiarity with ABAP and SQL.
  • Experience with SAP Data Services or other data migration tools.
