Senior Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced Business Finance Manager to lead our finance team.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the development and implementation of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and a proven track record of success in managing complex financial projects.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. CA qualification is mandatory, with CS, CPA, CFA, and CMA qualifications being highly desirable.

The successful candidate will also have experience in cash flow and working capital management, as well as effective implementation of processes. Team management experience is essential, with a minimum of 5-10 employees managed previously. Experience in manufacturing / engineering organizations is highly desirable.

1. Financial Planning and Analysis
   • Develop, oversee, and enforce the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
   • Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance
   • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders, including management, board of directors, and external parties.
   • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
3. Strategic Financial Management
   • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
   • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to support business objectives and ensure financial integrity.
4. Team Leadership and Development
   • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
   • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
5. Stakeholder / Banking Relationship Management
   • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
   • Serve as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and communications.
6. Financial Systems and Technology
   • Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
   • Stay current with advancements in financial technology and recommend innovations to improve financial operations.
7. Special Projects and Initiatives
   • Lead or participate in special projects, initiatives, and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management.
   • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the organization.

• Knowledge of Indian GAAP, including IndAS.
• Timely closure of books every month and Investor reporting.
• Experience in cash flow and working capital management.
• Effective implementation of processes.
• Experience in managing Big 4 auditors.
• Experience in implementation of ERP.
• Team management experience: Should have managed a team of at least 5-10 employees.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CA qualification is mandatory. CS, CPA, CFA CMA are a plus.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Experience in Manufacturing / Engineering organizations is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Understanding of US GAAP and Indian GAAP, including IndAS accounting standards.
• Strategic thinking and business acumen.
