About the Role

  • We are seeking highly skilled professionals with strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • The successful candidate will manage key financial areas, including accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, monthly accruals, depreciation, monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • This position involves working closely with the global Financial Accounting and Reporting team in the US.
  • You will also prepare statutory financials, handle audits, inter-company reconciliations, bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, and other general ledger tasks.

About You

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Chartered Accountant certification is mandatory.
  • Additional qualifications include expertise in finance and accounting, experience in Hi-tech companies, knowledge of international accounting principles, and working knowledge of direct and indirect taxation.
  • You should be able to work independently in a high-tech environment, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be proficient in using technology and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare purchase orders for vendors, track supply of goods/services, and monitor pending POs.
  • Conduct finance induction for new hires, providing information on expense policy and reimbursement systems.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and assist offices outside India as needed.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant certification.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using technology and systems, with experience in software and financial tools.
  • Team-oriented, problem-solving attitude, high integrity, and strong work ethics.
