Job Title: Network Engineer

This position is a key role in our organization's IT infrastructure.

  • We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal part in overseeing network incidents, changes, and problems to ensure minimal downtime.
  • As a Network Engineer, you will provide technical support for business IT queries and information, collaborating closely with various departments to drive business success.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring the network daily to identify potential issues, leveraging your expertise to implement effective solutions.
  • In addition, you will prepare and review network reports on changes, capacity, and incidents, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Participating in network projects and implementing new technologies will also be a crucial aspect of this role, as you will conduct proof of concept (POC) for new technology and submit reports as per business and customer requirements.
  • Auditing network configuration according to SOPs is another critical responsibility, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Technical Proficiency:

  • A strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) is essential, along with hands-on expertise in switching and SD-WAN management.

Familiarity with network hardware and protocols is also required, as well as knowledge of basic network troubleshooting tools.

Qualification:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Telecommunications.
  • Certifications: CCNA, NNCIA, VCP.
  • A strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies is necessary, as well as proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
