We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Network Specialist.

Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for this position:

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data center networks using Cisco ACI and Nexus platforms.

They will also be required to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure network solutions, perform network upgrades, migrations, and patching with minimal downtime, maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures, monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement, and stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong understanding of networking protocols, including layer 2 / layer 3 protocols such as VPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP. They should also have hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus platforms, overlay technologies such as VXLAN, BGP EVPN, OTV, LISP, and a strong understanding of Cisco SDN technologies.

Candidates should also have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data center networks, troubleshooting complex network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing network upgrades, migrations, and patching, maintaining documentation, monitoring network performance, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, and relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE would be highly desirable.
