Oracle HCM Functional Consultant Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR processes and technology solutions, with experience in managing end-to-end Oracle HCM implementations across multiple modules.

A successful Oracle HCM Functional Consultant will have strong project management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage the implementation/updating/modification process for all Oracle HCM modules.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure successful implementation and resolve technical or business-related issues.
  • System Configuration & Customization: Oversee configuration and customization of Oracle HCM modules according to business needs and best practices.
  • Training, Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and deliver training materials and user guides, plan pilots, testing, and provide end-user training and support.
  • Change Management and Digital Adoption: Support organizational change management activities on tech adoption of HR and internal communication products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of tech products post-implementation and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
  • 12 to 15+ years of experience implementing HR Systems / Supporting Oracle HCM or other HRMS platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end Oracle HCM implementations across multiple modules.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with deep understanding of HR technology solutions and shared services function.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Oracle HCM implementation and Project Management.
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM integration with other HR and enterprise systems.
  • High proficiency in Excel, macro, and report automation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools across HR lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Gen AI tools.
  • Familiarity with data migration, testing, and validation within the SuccessFactors environment.
