About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of servers, networks, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and upgrade operating systems, software applications, and hardware components to ensure compatibility and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and software applications in a timely manner.
  • Implement security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other threats.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to ensure proper security protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions that align with business needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Plan and perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems and networking protocols.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud services, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and end-users.
