About the Role

Job Description:

As a Technical Lead for Service Level Analysis and Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in empowering business to make informed, data-driven decisions through the development of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. You will lead a team of talented professionals, supervising the design, implementation, and optimization of analytical frameworks aimed at driving strategic outcomes. Leveraging your expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and advanced analytics, you will drive the strategic direction of our data-driven projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and creating value for customers using industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of MSBI & AI developers, Data Analysts & Data Artists, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging team members to excel in their roles and contribute to overall team success.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, productivity, and technical proficiency.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, providing programmatic direction for innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring the integration of data insights into various facets of business processes under a comprehensive program management framework.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with Customer Service Management & other stakeholders to define technical strategies and roadmaps for MSBI (on-prem & Cloud) & AI platform, aligning with customer dashboard needs and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices and standards in Data Analytics & AI projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency of solutions.

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Architect, design, and implement robust MSBI solutions, including ETL processes (SSIS), multidimensional data models (SSAS/Cubes), and interactive dashboards (Power BI).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Business Intelligence solutions with existing and emerging technologies.

Data Quality Assurance and Performance Optimization:

  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards on deliverables, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Perform thorough testing and validation, addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Optimize performance, tuning queries, indexes, and server configurations for optimal efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Conduct regular clean-up exercises with the team to avoid data explosion & memory peaks.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Create comprehensive documentation for Data Analytics & AI solutions, including technical specifications, data dictionaries, and operational procedures.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and training programs to transfer expertise and promote skill development within the team.
  • Collaborate with documentation and training teams to ensure the availability and accessibility of relevant resources.
  • Ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place for all solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a recognized expert and influential liaison between the SLAR team and stakeholders (CSM/CSDs), including department heads, within a program management framework.

Present findings, recommendations, and insights with expert articulation, tailoring communication to resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences within the context of program goals

About You:

  • Possess an advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, displaying the highest level of academic expertise.
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in data analytics or Artificial Intelligence domain.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, leveraging a wealth of experience to guide and inspire teams through complex, high-impact initiatives within the scope of comprehensive programs.
  • Communicate with exceptional clarity and authority, effortlessly conveying complex technical and programmatic concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in technical solutions.

Additional Information:

As a Technical Leader, this role transcends beyond specialization, embodying a mastery of skills in program management, agile methodologies, and an array of technical proficiencies, including ETL-SSIS, Python, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, SQL & NoSQL, MS SQL Server, SSAS, DAX, MDX, Data Scientist, and Web Interface technologies such as JS, Node, React. The expertise will be instrumental in ensuring optimal data utilization for operational performance results, encompassing APIs, automation, GenAI, and other advanced techniques.
