Market Access Expert Role

We are seeking a skilled Market Access Expert to play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for our pharmaceutical products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies to ensure that our products reach the right patients at the right price.

  • Develop Market Access Strategies: You will analyze market trends, payer dynamics, and healthcare systems to develop effective market access strategies that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
  • Conduct Health Economics Analysis: You will conduct comprehensive health economics analysis to identify market access barriers, pricing trends, and payer requirements, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and clinical affairs, to generate evidence supporting product value and develop compelling value propositions.
  • Negotiate Reimbursement Agreements: You will negotiate reimbursement agreements with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities to secure optimal pricing and access conditions for our products.
  • Prepare Submissions: You will prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers, value dossiers, pricing applications, and HTA submissions to support product approval and reimbursement.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Policy Developments: You will monitor policy developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to adapt market access strategies and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: You will provide strategic insights and recommendations to support product launch planning and lifecycle management, ensuring that our products meet changing market needs and remain competitive.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate Degree: A postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, pricing & reimbursement pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics is essential.
  • Skills: Proven experience in developing and implementing market access strategies, excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization is crucial.
