Job Overview

As a seasoned electrical system designer, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of low voltage control panels and control systems for wind turbines.

About Your Role

You will be part of the Power Distribution submodule, responsible for designing, developing, and integrating LV control panels to facilitate auxiliary power distribution to specific sections.

Main Responsibilities
  • Functionally own the Power distribution sub-module, owning end-to-end functions involving LV distribution panels.
  • Translate sub-module requirements into panel-level functions to be shared with panel manufacturers.
  • Ensure continuous alignment with suppliers and cross-functions to meet requirements.
  • Perform verification and validation of panel designs through reviews and simulations where feasible.
  • Accountable for quality of delivered functions and take control of issues reported from site using continuous improvements CIM.
  • Perform root cause analysis of CIM cases and ensure failure modes capture in DFMEA and Closed Loop Quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or similar specialization.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical system design.
  • Experience within wind or electrical industries preferred.
  • Practical experience with tools like E-plan, Creo View, and Windchill ETAP beneficial.
  • Experience handling ECM engineering change management along product life cycles.
  • Knowledge of International standards such as IEC, UL, etc., preferably IEC 60204-1 Machine Directive.
  • Basic knowledge of EMC electromagnetic compatibility design and testing requirements.
  • Experience in product development processes with knowledge of complete design and life cycle management.
  • Experience in stakeholder management spanning full value chains.
