Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various industrial projects.

  • You will evaluate customer drawings and specifications to determine solutions within our standard products or engineered-to-order in accordance with NEC or IEC/IECEx standards.
  • Prepare technical and commercial offers as per customer requirements, including equipment like panel boards, switch racks, enclosed circuit breakers, motor starters, local control stations, junction boxes, and lighting fixtures.
  • Review and provide compliance to customer technical queries, resolving project deviations to specifications and standards with the customer.
  • Create detailed general arrangement drawings with complete bills of materials using AutoCAD or Eplan software.
  • Develop complete project documentation, including data sheets, certificates, and procedures for customer approval.
  • Set up complete bills of materials in SAP as per customer-approved drawings.
  • Ensure materials availability by checking with the material sourcing team.
  • Coordinate with project management and production teams for manufacturing activities.
  • Collaborate with quality control for required inspection test plans and close-out inspection punch lists.
  • Prepare all documents for the manufacturing record book for project close-out.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4-7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail while balancing various activities and competing demands.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with electrical products, including distribution boards, local control stations, lighting fixtures, and junction boxes.
