Job Title: Principal Design Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Physical Design Lead Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design organization, you will lead the development of cutting-edge physical design solutions for complex semiconductor products.

This is a critical role that requires a strong background in synthesis, place and route, and timing convergence. You will be responsible for planning and executing all aspects of physical design, including floor planning, clock tree synthesis, and timing closure.

  • Develop and maintain expertise in advanced physical design concepts, such as synthesis, placement, routing, and signoff DRC/LVS closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of physical design into the overall design flow.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve design efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 8+ years of experience in physical design engineering.
  • A deep understanding of IO ring, package support, and multi-voltage design.
  • Experience with EDA tool-specific scripting languages, such as PERL and TCL.
  • The ability to take ownership of complex projects and lead cross-functional teams to deliver results.
