Senior Costing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Costing Engineer to oversee all activities related to panel costing in the Automation sector. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Siemens products, including PLCs, Drives, AC & DC Drives, CNC systems, DCS, PCS, Electrical Panels, and Instrumentation Panels.

About the Role

  1. Manage all activities related to panel costing, ensuring accurate and timely final costing.
  2. Demonstrate expert product knowledge of Siemens products, automation systems (PLC, Drives, CNC, DCS, PCS), electrical and instrumentation panels.
  3. Take ownership of costing tasks and deliverables while leading a team of engineers.
  4. Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs.
  5. Provide regular status reports to management regarding costing, progress, and potential issues.
  6. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in automation, electrical panels, and switchgear.
  7. Develop strong communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Siemens automation products and systems.
  • Proficiency in panel costing and project costing.
  • Experience with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle technical discussions and negotiations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
