Job Opportunity for Diploma Engineer Trainee

Role Overview

This position entails working as a Diploma Engineer Trainee within the refractory installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to safety protocols, conducting site audits, and maintaining quality documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Calderys Safety Protocols at project sites and conduct regular safety toolbox talks and site audits.
  • Maintain refractory installation quality by following SOPs and ensuring all quality documents are up-to-date.
  • Execute refractory installation jobs according to drawings and ensure timely completion as per schedule.
  • Prepare MIS reports, track progress, and reconcile materials in accordance with prescribed formats.
  • Manage material storage and site inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Submit contractors' bills and customers' certifications for monthly billing.
  • Maintain site machinery in good condition, performing repairs and maintenance as needed.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Ceramics or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in the engineering or project execution industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literacy with advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
