Senior Property Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our properties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and Prepare Financial Statements: You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support financial planning.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.
  • Collaboration with Property Management Teams: Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support for property operations.
  • Effective Use of Accounting Software: Effectively use US/UK accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience in the real estate industry.
  • Accounting Software Proficiency: Proficiency with US/UK accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
