About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT professional to join our team as an IT Administrator. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience in IT administration.

This exciting opportunity involves assisting in maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring smooth IT operations. Practical knowledge and a willingness to learn are valued most.

  • IT Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Software Installation: Assist in installing and updating software across our systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Data Backup: Help ensure regular data backups and contribute to our data security efforts.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing or documentation system.
  • Network Support: Assist in monitoring and maintaining our local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Security Monitoring: Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc Degree: A mandatory requirement for this position.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support or administration.
  • Basic Knowledge: Windows and/or Linux operating systems, network concepts, hardware components, office productivity software, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Added Advantage: IT certifications, basic knowledge of network security, and familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
