We are looking for a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience building server-side applications, detailed knowledge of relevant programming languages, and a sound understanding of backend frameworks. If you have a passion for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure solutions, we want to hear from you.

As a Senior Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for defining and owning part of the target architecture for your domain, working closely with product owners, mobile & web engineers, data scientists, and other business members to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions. You will also be expected to regularly align your vision and roadmap with other Engineering Managers and their respective target architectures to ensure the success of complex multi-domain initiatives.

Our technology stack includes Java, Spring Boot, JOOQ, Docker, Terraform, EKS, DataDog, Rollbar, GitHub, Sonarcloud, Semgrep, Angular 2+, Flutter, Fivetran, Snowflake, Looker, Python, Faust, Flask, Tecton, and various ML libs. We welcome candidates who are willing to learn and adapt to our technology ecosystem.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience building server-side applications and detailed knowledge of relevant programming languages (e.g. Java 8 or newer)
  • Sound knowledge of backend frameworks (e.g. Spring/Spring Boot)
  • Experience with running microservices and implementing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience engineering scalable and reliable solutions in a cloud-native environment
  • Demonstrate a mindset of delivering secure, well-tested, and well-documented software
  • Willingness to own code and team processes from development to production
  • Exposure to complex solutions in the area of financial/payments services
  • Experience integrating with various third-party providers and partners
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
