Job Title: Operations Manager-Reputed Cable Manufacturing Industry-Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India-10 LPA-Meetali

 

Overview

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in installation and commission of machines used in SMT/Molding/Cable manufacturing/Pneumatic Machines. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cable manufacturing facility.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of machine selection, product design, and development.
  • Automation equipment expertise including products development in Molding machines, Cable Equipment's, Test Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, Jigs & fixtures, Hydraulics and Mould designs.
  • Raw materials selection such as Cable, Connector used for Cable Assembly manufacturing.
  • Cable testing, tester selection and Spares selections.
  • Production planning including maintaining WIP tracker and Inventory Control.
  • Prepare Plan vs Actual with Yield%, Waste Management and Scrap Management.
  • Knowledge in machine process & setup.
  • Troubleshoot equipment efficiently.
  • Calibration of Equipments.
  • Preventive Maintenance Activities.
  • Machine history card preparation and monitoring the machine performance.
  • Awareness training to machine operators.
  • Reporting and recording machine downtime and open issues.
  • Continuous Improvement through quality concepts like Lean Manufacturing, 7 Quality tools, Kaizen, PDCA, SWOT Analysis.
  • ERP/SAP working knowledge.
  • Internal / External Audit, Preparation of Documents, ISO, UL and other required Quality Certification.
