FIU Compliance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FIU Compliance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing cashiering transactions of our clients in the Asia Pacific region.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team. A high degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze cashiering transactions for IBKR clients in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Communicate with clients on surveillance-related matters.
  • Review and provide suggestions to enhance existing surveillance systems/reports.
  • Implement approved enhancement changes and changes required due to regulatory changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in market conduct, AML/CTF rules and other related regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with APAC and international developments in relevant areas of law.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AML/CTF rules.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Good communication skills and client service experience would be advantageous.
  • Good quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid academic background with relevant qualifications.
  • A 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a small-team environment.
  • A high degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology, an understanding of how technology is applied to business and regulatory problems, or an ability to develop this rapidly.
