Chief Technology Strategist

• Software & Digital Transformation:
  • Overseeing multiple software projects, mobile apps, and web platforms, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
  • Driving AI integration, process automation, and digital innovation to expand the ministry's reach and engagement.
  • Managing API integrations, cloud-based platforms, websites, and mobile apps for a seamless user experience.
  • Evaluating 'make vs. buy' decisions for technology adoption, considering cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Staying ahead of the latest tools and frameworks, including Angular, React, Flutter, Node.js, Python, .NET Core, Firebase, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and AI-driven platforms.
• IT Infrastructure & Operations:
  • Supervising IT infrastructure teams for cloud and on-premise server management, networks, and telecom systems, ensuring high uptime and scalability.
  • Oversight of Tele Prayer Tower systems, ensuring minimal call drops and 24/7 connectivity across all Prayer Towers and remote teams.
  • Implementing IT asset management and vendor negotiations for cost-effective solutions.
• Cybersecurity & Surveillance:
  • Establishing robust cybersecurity frameworks to protect prayer data, donor/partner information, and ministry systems from potential threats.
  • Setting up and managing cloud-based CCTV surveillance systems across 104 Prayer Towers, integrating live feeds into a central monitoring dashboard.
  • Implementing real-time alerting, incident response, and forensic investigation systems to ensure prompt action in case of security breaches.
  • Ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and IT security regulations, adhering to Indian and international standards.
  • Conducting periodic penetration testing, audits, and vulnerability assessments to maintain a secure environment.
• Database & Analytics:
  • Leading database management teams to design high-performance, secure, and scalable systems that meet the ministry's needs.
  • Designing data-driven dashboards for partner engagement, prayer requests, and outreach metrics, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with Indian and international regulations, such as GDPR equivalents.
• Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Leading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary IT team across India, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and compassion.
  • Partnering with Prayer Tower leaders, Media, Finance, HR, and Ministry operations to develop technology-driven solutions that enhance the ministry's impact.
  • Building a team that values integrity, accountability, and continuous learning, promoting a culture of excellence within the IT department.
  Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven leadership in large-scale IT operations, with experience in managing complex systems and teams.
  • Expertise in software development, app ecosystems, DevOps, and emerging technologies, with a strong understanding of industry trends.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of networking, cloud systems (AWS/Azure), and CCTV cloud monitoring, with experience in implementing and managing these systems.
  • Strong command over cybersecurity frameworks, including SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, IAM, firewalls, endpoint security, and encryption, with experience in implementing and maintaining robust security measures.
  • Vendor & contract management skills, with experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendors effectively.
  • Strategic thinking, with ability to align IT with the ministry's growth and outreach goals, ensuring technology solutions are tailored to meet these objectives.
  • Strong communication and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
