Overview

As a seasoned professional, we seek an exceptional individual to join our organization as an Application Support Specialist. This role is responsible for providing top-notch support and expertise in Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level support for Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence tools using webforms and reporting capabilities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable solutions, utilizing knowledge of metadata extraction, load, and updates.
  • Design, develop, and enhance Smartview ad-hoc reports and Drill-through reports, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform production system problem resolution and support, applying strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies, including Unix, Linux, Informatica, and OBIEE, to remain competitive in the field.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications, version 11 and higher.
  • Demonstrated expertise in webforms, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
