Senior Data Analyst Job Description

This role involves working closely with global finance teams to understand complex reporting processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.

  • We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can work collaboratively with our finance teams to explore and validate large datasets, deliver new models, and collaborate with business teams on change management planning.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be able to communicate complex ideas simply, and have experience working with large datasets. They will also be responsible for providing delivery advice and ensuring technical integrity of the delivered solution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementation: Functional owner of Finance Data Layer and face of Data Analytics team.
  • Requirements: Conducts data exploration workshop and creates Business Blueprint/rules that captures manual process and automates them.
  • Relationships: Responsible to guide system set up team and technical team. Creates strong alliances with diverse stakeholders from different geographies.
  • Measurement: Provides solution to business partner requirements when the requirement is beyond standard template. Decides client data transition and testing strategy.
  • Variety of work: Works with global finance teams on data exploration and validation, delivering new models, collaborating with business teams on change management planning, and engaging with technical teams in deciding optimal solutions.
