Financial Transformation Specialist

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Transformation Specialist to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials and a proven track record of successful implementations.
• This role involves leading assessment, design, implementation, and deployment of Oracle Cloud Financials.
• You will partner with clients' business stakeholders to execute all phases of the implementation lifecycle requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment in accordance with the Oracle Unified Method (OUM).
• A key responsibility of this role is to architect solution options considering Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities to address business requirements and business pain points.
• You will ensure high quality and value-added documentation of functional and technical solution design for review, update, and approval for implementation.
• This role also involves leading the hands-on configuration in Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, Fusion Tax, AP, AR, CM) and working with client stakeholders to ensure configurations are in alignment with business requirements.
• Additionally, you will lead the hands-on development of custom solutions across Reports, Integrations, Conversions and Extensions.
• You will manage and drive continuous development of industry-specific accelerators (templates, best practices, automation tools) for faster delivery.
• Collaboration with the team, business development, and upskilling them to becoming a leading Financial Transformation team is also an essential aspect of this role.
• You will also expand and identify opportunities to expand into other areas of technology expertise and ecosystems beyond Oracle.
• Reviewing requirements and design documents to understand the current state of design is another crucial task.
• Proactively tracking, monitoring, and resolving every identified functional and technical issue during an implementation is a key responsibility.
• Finally, you will own the Oracle Service Requests (SRs) responsibility, from initiation to resolution.
• Your primary goal will be to drive solutions to complex business problems and advocate for scalable solutions.

Required Skills/Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years prior experience with Oracle Cloud Financials, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
• 10+ years prior experience with Oracle ERP (Financials, which includes GL, Fusion Tax, AP, AR, CM).
• A strong background in A2R Accounting to Reporting workstream is necessary.
• Oracle Financials Cloud (General Ledger) Certified Professional is preferred.
• Excellent communications skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and high-pressure situations.
• Experience handling UAT cycles, user training, and documentation is essential.
• Coordinating with different test teams to execute test cycles and providing training to end-users and application support teams are also required.
• You must be self-driven to achieve the highest standards of service, implementation excellence, and on-time delivery.
• Open to travel at client locations.
• A graduate degree or equivalent is required.
