Expert Transcription Services: The Evolution of Court Reporting
Digital transcription is the next advancement in court reporting, leveraging audio recording and AI-powered technology to produce certified transcripts without relying on stenographic machines.
This position involves refining, editing, and formatting AI-generated deposition transcripts to meet professional and legal standards.
- Refine and edit AI-generated transcripts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Ensure correct use of legal terminology and proper speaker identification.
- Document nonverbal communication and maintain high fidelity to spoken content.
- Follow standard legal formatting and conduct final quality reviews before submission.
Key qualifications include a strong understanding of legal proceedings and terminology, exceptional listening and comprehension skills, and high attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications include AAERT CET or NCRA certification and proof of completion of a formal transcription course. 4-6 years of professional transcription experience may be accepted in lieu of formal training.
