Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our litigation team as an Associate – Litigation. The role involves working closely with senior lawyers and clients on diverse litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective representation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting Legal Documents: Draft pleadings, petitions, written statements, and other legal documents.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and prepare case notes, opinions, and briefs.
  • Court Appearances: Represent the firm in courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.
  • Case Preparation: Assist in strategy formulation and case preparation.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain strong communication with clients and keep them updated on case progress.
  • Compliance and Deadlines: Ensure compliance with procedural requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams for case-related support and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Drafting Skills: Possess strong drafting and legal research skills.
  • Litigation Knowledge: Have knowledge of civil and commercial litigation procedures.
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate effective communication and client-handling skills.
  • Time Management: Be able to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess attention to detail with sound problem-solving ability.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Law Graduate: Hold a law degree and have 1–3 years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Bar Council Enrolment: Be enrolled with the Bar Council.
  • Prior Litigation Experience: Prior exposure to civil, commercial, or regulatory litigation is preferred.
